The neck of a young man who was going to his in-laws house with his wife on a bike got stuck in the thin wire of a shock machine installed for animals. Due to which the young man died due to his neck being cut. Wife got injured after falling on the road. Police sends dead body for post-mortem.
The bike rider’s neck was cut after he got hit by the wire of a shock machine hanging on the road on the Barla-Madholi road near Chapauta village located at Atrauli Kotwali in Aligarh. Due to this there was mourning in the family. The family members did not allow the dead body to be taken up demanding a report against the negligent farmer. SDM Anil Katiyar and CO Mo Akmal Khan reached the spot and pacified the people who were creating ruckus by assuring them of action. The police filled the body panchnama and sent it for postmortem.
55 year old Pannalal Saini, son of Fakirchand, resident of Sahanol village of Atrauli, was a farmer. On February 8, around 2 pm, he was going to his in-laws’ house in Barla village Rahmapur. His wife Bhagwati Devi was also sitting with him on the bike. The husband and wife were going from Bamba track road going from Madholi to Barla. In the guava orchard near village Chapauta, the wire of the shock machine was tied to a tree and was crossing the road to another field to prevent stray animals. The wire was tied on the tree on both sides. Due to strong wind the wire broke from the tree and came down. The wire was not visible because it was thin. Pannalal’s neck got stuck in the wire on the moving bike and his neck was cut.
He along with his wife fell on the road and the bike fell into Bamba. Hearing the screams, farmers working in the nearby fields came to the spot. He saw that Pannalal’s dead body was lying soaked in blood. A crowd gathered there. Family members from the village also reached the spot. People said that the accident happened due to the negligence of the farmer, a report should be filed against him and compensation should be given to the victim’s family.
